Science (UMDS)<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> participated in a meeting with business representatives dedicated to discussing Draft Law No. 10225-d concerning the regulation of virtual asset circulation in Ukraine.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2923\" data-end=\"3230\">The event was organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssmc.gov.ua\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"2954\" data-end=\"3016\">National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine<\/strong> <\/a>jointly with the <strong data-start=\"3034\" data-end=\"3097\">Ukraine Illicit Finance Capacity Development Project (UCIF)<\/strong> and was held as an open discussion at the Serhiy Nyzhnyi Kyiv School of Public Administration.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3232\" data-end=\"3256\">UMDS was represented by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dr-tatiana-dmytrenko-b06120ab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Tetiana Dmytrenko<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 Chair of the Board of <a href=\"https:\/\/umdigital.science\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UMDS<\/a>;\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/vadym-burlakov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Vadym Burlakov<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 Business Development Partner <a href=\"https:\/\/crystalblockchain.com\/crystal-expert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Crystal Intelligence<\/a>, UMDS Expert; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/amlbotvladyslav-raskosov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Vlad Raskosov<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/amlbot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AMLBot<\/a> Investigator, UMDS Expert; <strong>Vadym Grusha<\/strong> \u2014 CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/trusteeglobal.com\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TRUSTEE<\/a>, UMDS Expert.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3496\" data-end=\"3793\">During the meeting, the participants discussed the main provisions of Draft Law No. 10225-d, which establishes the foundations for the legal regulation of virtual asset circulation, the activities of virtual asset service providers, and the relevant taxation and financial monitoring requirements.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3795\" data-end=\"4201\">Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of the future regulatory framework, the alignment of Ukrainian legislation with European Union standards, including the <strong data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"4016\">Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA)<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"4026\" data-end=\"4050\">FATF Recommendations<\/strong>, as well as the importance of maintaining a direct and constructive dialogue between the regulator, businesses, researchers, and the expert community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4203\" data-end=\"4447\">UMDS representatives contributed to the open discussion, exchanged professional views, and participated in developing proposals aimed at creating a transparent, predictable, and competitive legal environment for Ukraine\u2019s virtual assets market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4449\" data-end=\"4923\">The event also provided the UMDS team with an opportunity to meet and exchange views with colleagues and partners involved in joint projects focused on countering the criminal misuse of crypto-assets and developing a legal framework for a transparent virtual assets market in Ukraine.
