UMDS experts took part in the discussion “Regulation of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine — risks and prospects” of the IT conference iForum2023, in which representatives of the authorities and expert organizations discussed the implementation of the European Regulation on the regulation of cryptoassets MiCA.
Member of the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market of Ukraine Maksym Libanov, Deputy Minister for IT of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Oleksandr Bornyakov, General Director of the Blockchain Association of Ukraine Nata Drik and Head of the Board of the NGO “Ukrainian Modern Digital Science” Tetyana Dmytrenko took part in the discussion.
It has long been decided to be a crypto market or not in favor of the crypto market and blockchain technology. The established international and European regulatory standards must be implemented into national legislation. However, how to make regulation effective, but not excessive, attractive to investors, but not to criminals, we discussed at the discussion panel of the Blockchain platform and Forum2023.
