The conference brought together over 250 participants in person and over 1,000 online — representatives of law enforcement agencies, regulators, state banks, academic institutions, the private sector and leading blockchain analytics companies.

Dr. Oleksiy Feshchenko spoke from UMDS in the panel discussion “Scams, Illicit Marketplaces and Professional Money Laundering”, presenting analytics on fraud and crypto-asset laundering trends in 2025.
The main issues on which the conference focused:
 integration of traditional and decentralized finance and creation of effective information exchange channels between banks and virtual asset service providers to increase transparency and prevent illicit financing;

 capacity building through training and exchange of experience: formation of specialized teams and upgrading of skills of employees working with cryptocurrency investigations;
 strengthening public-private partnerships as a key mechanism for combating illegal activities in blockchain and scaling up such formats of cooperation;
 inter-agency and international interaction: creation of faster communication channels between law enforcement officers, prosecutors and regulators for effective response to cross-border crimes using crypto assets.

It was a pleasure to meet many partners and colleagues – including from UNODC, Basel Institute, AMLbot, Global Ledger, Crystal, as well as representatives of Europol, national regulators and financial institutions.

In addition to in-depth professional discussions, the event was an excellent opportunity for warm meetings, exchange of experiences and planning of joint initiatives aimed at increasing the resilience of financial systems in the digital age.
