In order to expand the boundaries of Ukrainian Modern Digital Science (hereinafter – UMDS) international activities, we are pleased to announce the beginning of cooperation with the Baltic Compliance Association (hereinafter – BCA).
Strengthening the AML component of our activity, cooperation with the ВСA aims to combine expertise in the implementation of AML policies and procedures, methods of effective compliance in the activities of participants in the digital economy, and effective transformation of compliance activities into the digital economy. Given the new direction of analysis and development of the implementation of sanctions both in the crypto market and in the activities of the financial market, which cooperate with the operators of the crypto industry and its customers, we are glad to join efforts to strengthen this direction with all Baltic countries.
The BCA was created to promote compliance with anti-money laundering legislation (hereafter jointly including the prevention of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and compliance with international sanctions) in industries that are also already regulated and those that have undertaken self-regulation while the legislative framework is being developed and implemented by authorities.
We are confident that the new coalition will be a cornerstone in our overall fight against crime and sanctions evasion, joined by other partners who understand that much more needs to be done to protect us from crime and sanctions. evasion, as well as the preservation of our democratic values!
