On April 22, an open lecture was held at the Antonovych Library of the  NaUKMA for students and professors of Academy, delivered by the Chair of Ukrainian Modern Digital Science (UMDS), Doctor of Economics Tetiana Dmytrenko.

We sincerely thank everyone who attended the event. It was not just a lecture, but a meaningful discussion on how modern European regulation is actually shaped — through ideas, risks, compromises, and real-world practice.

The lecture presented key developments in European legislation in the field of financial security and the digital economy, as well as research findings of UMDS and its partners — leading blockchain analytics companies.

Special attention was given to:

– mechanisms for combating financial crime and sanctions evasion;
– risks associated with the misuse of crypto-assets;
– effective EU approaches relevant for Ukraine;
– balancing regulation and innovation.

The focus of the lecture was on digital economy security as a core element of Ukraine’s European integration. Drawing on international experience and analytical research, the session outlined how the architecture of financial security is evolving and which solutions will shape future economic resilience.

Most importantly, participants gained not only analytical insights but also a forward-looking vision.
