Experts of the NGO “Ukrainian Modern Digital Science” took part in the International scientific and practical conference “Implementation of European Union standards to strengthen the economic security of Ukraine”. The purpose of the conference was to increase the capacity of law enforcement agencies and state oversight bodies of Ukraine to effectively prevent, detect and investigate offenses that harm the state budget of Ukraine and the financial interests of donors.
Dr. Tetyana Dmytrenko delivered a report on the tracking and confiscation of virtual assets and the analysis of large volumes of data as a key component of effective economic security. They also discussed the prospects for the legalization of the virtual assets market in Ukraine and the implementation of relevant international and European legislation.
At the conference, our expert and employee of the Cyber Police Department of the NPU, Mr. Yevhenii Panchenko, will demonstrate a software and analytical product for conducting investigations using large data sets from open sources, DataWalk. The developers of this software product were also present at the conference.
