Dr. Tetiana Dmytrenko, Doctor of Economic Sciences, UMDS Chairwoman, representatives of UMDS partners – blockchain analytics companies Global Ledger, Crystal and a recognised expert in financial monitoring, digital assets, and risk-based regulation, took part in the Taskforce Meeting on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in Fighting Financial Crime in Ukraine, organised by the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies (RUSI) in cooperation with the Center for Financial Integrity (CFI).

The discussion focused on enhancing transparency in the virtual asset market and developing a secure digital finance ecosystem capable of effectively countering financial crime. Dr. Dmytrenko shared her insights into modern approaches to the regulation of digital financial instruments and contributed to professional dialogue with international colleagues, national experts, and civil society representatives.

“This was an important platform to meet familiar faces, discuss current challenges and prospects, and establish new partnerships. I’m sincerely grateful to the organisers — Tom Keatinge, Oksana Ihnatenko, Kinga Redlowska, Vlada Yaremenko, Iryna Mamulashvili, Noemi Tambe, and Anastasiia Okunevych — for their professionalism and commitment to advancing public-private cooperation,” – Dr. Dmytrenko noted.

The meeting once again confirmed the growing role of PPP as a strategic tool in countering financial crime in the digital era and marked a significant step in Dr Dmytrenko’s return to active expert engagement.
